Last month Change Healthcare was the target of a cyberattack that has had significant impacts on much of the nation’s health care system. The effects of this attack are far-reaching; Change Healthcare, owned by UnitedHealth Group (UHG), processes 15 billion health care transactions annually and is involved in one in every three patient records.
Our practice uses CHC to process all of our patient insurance claims. We submit for our patients and wait for insurance payouts and then bill the balance. We are not currently receiving any insurance payments while CHC recovers its systems.
We are so grateful to our patients who have been willing to pay half of their bills while they await their claims to be processed. Thank you so much for your patience and your willingness to help us work through this process.

Do you want to keep your teeth?
Let's start with a primer about tooth decay and how to avoid it!
Untreated tooth decay can lead to pain. The tooth can become infected and that infection can spread to other parts of your mouth. You can lose the affected tooth, nearby teeth, and eventually even the bone in your jaw. Untreated tooth decay can lead to an abscess which can be quite painful.
