🦷✨ October is National Dental Hygiene Month! ✨🦷

A healthy smile starts with great daily habits! This month, we’re celebrating the importance of dental hygiene and reminding you that small steps can make a big difference:

🪥 Brush twice a day
🧵 Floss daily to clean between your teeth
💧 Drink plenty of water
📅 Keep up with your regular dental cleanings and checkups

Your smile deserves a little extra attention this month—and every month! 💙

At Plattsmouth Dental, we’re here to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy for years to come.

🦷Hygienists need X-rays too!😆📸

Our hygienist Sami was in the chair today—but before she got her teeth cleaned, she had to get her X-rays taken… and of course, she took them herself! 😂 Talk about knowing your way around the office!

But in all seriousness, dental X-rays are an important part of your oral health! They can help us see things that aren't always visible during a regular exam, including cavities between teeth, bone loss, infections, impacted teeth, and other changes beneath the surface. 🦷🔎

X-rays aren't automatically needed at every visit. Your dentist determines when they're appropriate based on your oral health, age, risk factors, symptoms, and clinical exam. The goal is always to get the diagnostic information we need while keeping radiation exposure as low as reasonably achievable.

🍂☕ HELLO, FALL! 🎃🍎

Yesterday was the FIRST day of autumn, so of course we had to celebrate at Plattsmouth Dental! 🧡 We enjoyed pumpkin lattes and apple c***r from Herban Coffee and Blooms — the perfect way to kick off our favorite season! 🍁✨

Nothing says fall quite like cozy drinks, happy smiles, and our amazing team! 🥰

Cheers to crisp mornings, pumpkin everything, and a whole season of smiles! 🦷🍂

🌸💐 FLORAL FRIDAY! 💐🌸

This week, we had the pleasure of surprising Aiden with a beautiful bouquet! 🥰🌷

At Plattsmouth Dental, we love showing our patients just how much we appreciate them. Every week, we choose a special patient to receive flowers as a little “thank you” for being part of our dental family! 🦷💐

Aiden was so sweet and thankful for his surprise, and we were just as happy to make his day a little brighter! 💕

Thank you for choosing Plattsmouth Dental, Aiden! We hope you enjoy your beautiful flowers! 🌸
