SEEKING REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST- 3 DAYS A WEEK
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role involves providing high-quality dental care, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
-Take and document vital signs, medical history, and dental terminology.
-Utilize Eddson software for patient documentation and record management.
-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
-Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on comfort and education for younger patients.
-Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
-Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays.
-Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
-Stay updated on anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practices.
Requirements:
-Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
-Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
-Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
-Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation review.
