At TLC Dentistry, we believe in “Creating your Smile with Tender Loving Care”. Most dentists have heard patients say “I don’t like like dentists”. As a victim of a traumatic childhood dental experience myself, I understand exactly how those patients feel. My goal is to change the patient’s point of view about dentistry by creating a cozy, war, inviting environment so our patients feel pampered whi

le they receive highest quality dental care. My personal philosophy about dental care is: Your Mouth is the Gateway to Your Body and Your Health. We live by this philosophy every day. Many patients don’t make the connection between oral health and their overall health. However, there is a powerful correlation between tooth decay and periodontal (gum) disease linked with other health problems, such as cardiovascular disease, stroke and bacterial pneumonia. Likewise, pregnant women with periodontitis may be at increased risk of delivering preterm and/or low-birth-weight infants. We not only want to treat the problems but also to prevent larger problems. Our practice is strongly built on educating the patient about the link between oral health and general health; together we can prevent and improve patient’s overall health. Today is an excited and meaningful day for Mr. Nelson and our team. We had been working nonstop on treating his dental issues and transform his smile for the last 2 years before he able to get a lung transplant, it was the requirement from the doctor. This appointment was to delivery his last implant crown and bridge that also meant we had worked on every single tooth and placed some more in his mouth. Before he got to our office for this appointment he recieved a phone call to inform him that the wait is over, they had found the matched donor. We were thrilled, excited, emotional yet nervous at the same time. We finished what we need to get done to prepare Mr. Nelson for his life changing surgery tomorrow. We gave him a group hug and sent him away with the "healthiest mouth" he ever had in his life, that were his exact words. Thank you for placing trust in our team. We are honored to be a part of your transplant journey. We wish you the best of luck on your surgery and recovery. We are waiting to see you the next time at the office without the oxygen tank next to you. We are cheering and praying for your. 🙏🙏🙏
