At least it was sunny today! After almost 2 years of the pandemic, we are a little (or maybe a lot) burnt out. I hope everyone finds some time for themselves, finds something that brings them joy. I love being outside and these are by dogs, Callie and Max. They are my best hiking buddies. They enjoy the cold and had a blast today, I always leave the woods a little more peaceful and rested.

If you need a reminder to take care of yourself, consider yourself reminded. 🥰

Congrats Mt Lebanon football!!

HERSHEY - The Mt. Lebanon football team captured its first PIAA title Saturday night with a 35-17 victory over three-time defending champion St. Joseph's Prep at Hersheypark Stadium.

This photo still hurts my heart 20 years later. I was in a lab in dental school listening to reports over a radio someone had. The slow feeling of dread that swept over all of us, the terror as we realized that one of my oldest friend’s mom and grandma were in the air at the time (it took us almost all day to find out they were ok), and the the sadness as I watched families in NY with photos looking for loved ones that were surely gone.
This day and the days that followed were surreal and heartbreaking. May today remind us that tomorrow is never promised, be kind, and help one another.
