Two of their supervisors are at the end of the photo, Pediatric Dentists Dr. Joshua Bullock, DMD, (second from the right) and Dr. Amy Gensweider, DDS.

🦷 CHC/SEK is a clinical training site for the NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program. The dental residents will train within the health center’s SEK Smiles pediatric dental clinics in Parsons & Pittsburg.

🦷 Having additional dentists in the clinics will reduce wait times for appointments and allow more children to receive services.

🦷 The pediatric dental residents are under the supervision of CHC/SEK pediatric dentist Joshua Bullock, DMD, in Pittsburg, serving as the Associate Director of Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry with NYU- Langone; Amy Gensweider, DDS, who in 2018 became the only full-time pediatric dentist in southeast Kansas serving in the SEK Smiles Parsons clinic, and Dr. Elizabeth "Betsy" Rogers, DDS who has previously administered multiple NYU Langone pediatric residency sites.

Thank you, CHC/SEK Dental Hygienists! 🙌

Here are some fun facts about the work our Hygienists have done:

🦷 Dental outreach has already provided 19,628 dental screenings since the beginning of the school year

🦷 Our dental outreach will complete around 4,042 cleanings by the end of this school year

🦷 We provide dental outreach services to 42 school districts and 12 Head Start locations
