Dear friends and colleagues,
As with all things natural, there comes a time to turn the page on life chapters and look forward to the next ones. It is with a healthy dose of perspective, valued wealth of experience, and not-insignificant sentiment that I am writing to inform everyone that Pittsboro Family Dentistry has changed hands. Our cherished patients will be under the capable hands of Drs. Mijung & Jae Kim going forth. The other familiar faces of the PFD team will remain to make the transition smooth and to carry on the personal service, high level of clinical care, and respectful approach for which we have strove for the past 7 years.
Drs. Kim bring over a decade of clinical expertise with them collectively. They completed their formal training and practiced initially in the Northeast (Maine and Massachusetts) before settling in North Carolina more recently. They have a lovely toddler at home and a fresh, eager energy professionally and stand ready as Pittsboro continues towards its promising future. In the brief time we have known each other, I have found them to be approachable, conscientious, and excellent candidates for our practice community. Additionally, Drs. Kim also bring some additional clinical skills to the table, so some of the cases which had been referred to specialists may now be addressed within PFD. Among other things, Dr. Mijung Kim is very comfortable with seeing younger kids and rendering orthodontic and endodontic care, and many patients will appreciate her warmth in addition to the convenience.
I would like to express a very sincere thanks for the support and friendship during my time at PFD and encourage you to do the same for Mijung and Jae. The conversations we have had over the years pleasantly extended beyond the clinical many times and will not be quickly forgotten. Bela, Roan, and I wish you and yours all the best and welcome our paths crossing occasionally as life continues its meandering path.
