We are absolutely ECTSTATIC to announce that we have a future DENTIST on our team - Haley (one of Dr. Soung's surgical assistants) just got accepted to the prestigious UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry; Dr. Soung's alma mater and one of the best dental schools in the U.S. and world!!! 👏 🥳 Dr. Soung could not be more proud as a boss and mentor, but his feelings are bittersweet since Haley's departure will leave a gigantic void and big shoes to fill 😢

We are SO ELATED to announce that we have a new "honorary" member of the Waverly OS Family. Melissa (Dr. Soung's Lead Assistant) gave birth to a healthy baby boy early this morning. Mother and baby boy are doing fantastic, but Mama is understandably exhausted... get used to being tired and welcome to the joys of Parenthood!!

Another happy "All-on-4" implant hybrid prosthesis patient. She is so happy with her brand new upper teeth and smile that she's already returned to have the same procedure done in the lower jaw! You could regain your chewing function and completely transform your smile and appearance in just one day like this wonderful patient of ours!

Are you missing an upper molar tooth and you've been told by your dentist (or other dental provider) that you're NOT a candidate for a dental implant because the floor of your (maxillary) sinus is too close to the proposed implant site? Rubbish... come see Dr. Soung and he'll talk you through your sinus lift treatment options.

And we promise that even though "sinus lift" sounds morbid and makes you cringe, recovery from this procedure is not nearly as bad as you're probably thinking. This patient of ours underwent a lateral window sinus lift with Dr. Soung - the procedure took less than an hour and she said that she had barely any pain or swelling afterwards!
