Yesterday was Dentist Day and my wonderful friends at Dental Derby, Dr. Jose and Yashira Cangas, gifted us this beautiful platter and the best part is that it is a UNC tray. I am so grateful and lucky to practice in this wonderful community.

Currently our office is without power or phone service. Our office will be closed Wednesday, December 7th. Once service is restored, we will contact those with appointments to reschedule. The latest update from Duke Power shows power possibly being restored by 11:45pm Dec. 7th. Our hope is that we can open Dec. 8th, and start calling patients to reschedule missed appointments. Stay safe everyone.

Update:
Our office will remain closed until the end of April to comply with the NC stay-at-home mandate. This date is subject to change per NC Dental Board recommendations and we will keep you updated as soon as possible. We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Dear Powers Pediatric Team members and Patients and Families,
Last night the NC State Board of Dental Examiners issued a statement that strongly recommends that dentists postpone non-emergency care for two weeks.
We have to announce that our office will be closed tomorrow March 18th through April 1st due to the COVID 19 virus.

We will plan to reopen and on April 1st with normal business hours, however this is an evolving process and will be reassessed daily. During this time of closure we will still be able to treat dental emergencies but a phone consultation will be required first. Please also direct questions to [email protected]. Here at Powers Pediatric Dentistry patient and team member safety is our highest priority. Thank you ALL for your understanding, love, and support.
