There isn't one "perfect" age to begin orthodontic treatment. Some children benefit from early, interceptive treatment while they still have baby teeth, while others are ready once more permanent teeth have come in.

That's why we recommend scheduling an orthodontic evaluation around age 7. An early exam helps us monitor your child's growth, identify potential concerns, and determine the best timing for treatment.
