CNN reports that people with severe sleep apnea who spent less time in deep sleep (also known as slow-wave sleep) had more damage to the white matter of their brain than people who had more deep sleep.

Dr. Diego Carvalho, a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, stated, "For every 10% decrease in time spent in deep sleep, there was an increase of white matter hyperintensities in the brain similar to the effect of being 2.3 years older."

We are currently searching for a Dental Hygienist to: 1) Provide superior dental quality care to patients, 2) Work closely with office staff (dental assistants and other hygienists), and 3) Provide dental hygiene services for children and adults.
