Last week, Dr. Burk brought his son’s dog, Zeus, to the office to help socialize him a little…and Zeus decided he had plans of his own.

When he slipped out the back door and went missing, what happened next reminded us just how incredible this community truly is.

Neighbors, patients, people who had already left their appointments, and even members of local online groups all jumped in to help search for Zeus. Calls were made, posts were shared, posters were hung, people drove around looking, and so many strangers stopped what they were doing to help bring him home.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who cared, searched, shared, and encouraged us until Zeus was safely found.

This experience reminded us that we don’t just work in a wonderful neighborhood – we’re part of an amazing community. Thank you all so much for your kindness and support!

Our own Dr. Sara had a very respectable finish and a solid time this morning at the 2026 Spurs Austin International Half Marathon Downhill to Downtown. This race has a new name but has been the same legendary experience for over 30 years! Congratulations Dr. Sara! You make us proud! 🏃🏼‍♀️
