New policy starting January 1st, 2023.
Over the past year we have had an ever increasing amount of no show/no call dental patients. We are a very understanding professional practice and realize that in this day and age of fast paced life people do forget on occasion, their appointments. Also, we completely understand that sickness and emergencies happen. We always try our best to work with our patients on scheduling. However, we have always stated "Please, give us at least 24 hour notice when canceling appointments." We have a wait list of people that would like to have an appointment! When someone doesn't show up or call to cancel their appointment it not only cost our office lost revenue, waste our time, and causes people on the wait list to continue waiting. We could have filled the time slot if someone would have called and canceled.
On December, 27th we had 7 no show/no calls! I am sorry but that is ridiculous!
Our new office policy pretaining to no show/no call missed appointments will be as follows:
You have two chances, meaning we know things happen as stated in the being of this post. But if it happens a third time we will bill you $35.00 and will not reschedule you until you pay the no show/no call fee.
We are sorry to have to do this but this problematic issue with not showing up nor not calling to cancel your appointment has to stop.
We are a small town, professional practice providing a service to the public. We are respectful, well mannered, and take pride in helping our patients. We simply ask that you be respectful of our time by calling to cancel your appointment. Preferably, 24 hours ahead of time,if possible.

Our private dental practice is seeking a part time Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team.
We're looking for a motivated individual with excellent clinical skills, professional appearance and demeanor, who makes patients feel comfortable. Must be a team player with strong communication skills. Must be able to provide exceptional customer service, accurately chart each patients periodontal health, perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis to patients which may also include fluoride treatments. Must be able to provide x-rays for patients as prescribed by dentist. Must be able to teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients.
One year experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred day/hours are for Wednesdays 8am to 5pm. There is a possibility that more days/hours could be added if individual was interested. But we can be flexible about the hours.
We provide competitive compensation.

Must be licensed and have certification in CPR. Continuing education should be up to date as well.
