🦷 THE REALITY OF DENTAL INSURANCE IN 2026

The New York Knicks have won as many championships in the last 53 years as most dental insurance companies have increased their annual maximums: ZERO.

Many dental plans still cap benefits at $1,000–$1,500 per year—the same amount many plans offered in the 1970s.

Think about that:

📈 Inflation has increased more than 600% 📈 Rent, utilities, supplies, equipment, and staff wages have all risen dramatically 📈 Dental technology and patient care have improved tremendously

Yet insurance companies continue to market these plans as if they provide comprehensive coverage.

To put things into perspective, the CEO of Delta Dental of California received over $4 million in total compensation in recent public filings, while patients and dental practices continue to face stagnant benefit maximums and increasing restrictions.

The truth is:

Your toothbrush should be replaced every 3–4 months (or sooner if the bristles are frayed). Worn-out bristles don't clean teeth as effectively and can leave behind more plaque.
