Happy 6 year Anniversary to Jackie!

Jackie has been a part of White Oak Dental since the very beginning, and she's been bringing great energy and positivity to the office ever since! Between assisting, hygiene, and jumping in wherever needed, she keeps the team laughing and helps everything run smoothly each day.

She's known around the office for her goofy sense of humor, organization, and the ability to hop into several different positions when necessary. And if you've ever needed to be numb for a procedure at White Oak, there's a pretty good chance Jackie was the one taking care of you!

We appreciate everything she does for our team and patients and we're lucky to have had her at White Oak Dental for the last 6 years. Here's to many more!

40 never looked so good! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating our amazing assistant Stephanie on her 40th birthday! Steph works so hard behind the scenes to help keep our office running smoothly and always takes such great care of our patients. Her kindness, positive attitude, and dedication do not go unnoticed!

We are so thankful for everything you do, Steph! And even though we know you hate all of this extra attention, we hope you have the BEST birthday!

“Why does this tooth need a crown if it doesn’t hurt?”
This is a great example of why.

The first photo was taken in 2022. At that time, this molar had a large silver filling and several crack lines, all early signs of weakening tooth structure.
Fast forward less than 4 years later…and that cusp fractured.

Large fillings can leave teeth more vulnerable over time, especially when the remaining tooth structure starts to thin and flex under pressure. Cracks and large fillings are a common finding that can be a warning sign of impending fractures.
A crown acts as a long-term reinforcement for the tooth, helping prevent detrimental cracks and fractures before they happen.

We always want to help patients save their teeth in the most conservative way possible--and sometimes that means protecting them before they actually break!

✨ Before & After Smile Transformation ✨

This patient came to us with a peg lateral tooth, which created spacing and made their smile feel a little incomplete.

With a conservative approach using composite filling material, we were able to beautifully reshape the tooth and close the gap--no extensive treatment needed!

The result? A more balanced, natural-looking smile that the patient can feel confident about.
