We know dental insurance probably isn’t what you’re scrolling Facebook hoping to read about. 😂 You’re here for the fun stuff, dogs, outings, our team, and everything happening around the office.

But dental insurance is something we talk about with our patients every single day, and we think it’s important that you understand how it works.

The easiest way we’ve found to explain it is this: Think of your dental insurance like a $1,500 gift card. You have $1,500 available for the year. Once it’s used, it’s used. Your insurance company determines what they’ll pay, how much they’ll pay, and when they’ll pay it. And unfortunately, they don’t always make that process easy.

Hiliare spends HOURS working with insurance companies, reviewing claims and fighting to collect as much of your benefit as possible. We do that because we know that money matters to our patients. We don’t want you leaving money on the table simply because an insurance company made the process difficult.

We do our best to explain your benefits, help you understand what your insurance is telling us, and make the process as easy as we can. But here’s the important part: your insurance company works for you, not us. Your benefits are a relationship between you and your insurance provider.

Our relationship is with YOU. Our job is to recommend the dental care you need, provide the highest quality care we can, and make sure you have an awesome experience in our office. Your insurance company may have a say in what they pay, but they don’t get a say in how we care for you.

Did you know that Amy, Allyx & Val are not only dental hygienists, but they’re also EFDAs, Expanded Functions Dental Assistants?

All three have completed additional education and training beyond their dental hygiene education, giving them expanded skills and knowledge they can use to care for our patients.

They get to do a little bit of everything from keeping your teeth and gums healthy to assisting with restorative care. So if you feel like they’re spending a little more time with you than the dentist does, now you know why! 😉

We’re pretty lucky to have three hygienists who can wear more than one hat! 🦷

Norma, Michelle & Kaylee are such an important part of our team. They work alongside our doctors, take great care of our patients, keep things moving, and somehow manage all the little things that make a day at the dentist run smoothly.

They are hardworking, caring and knowledgeable. They’re often the first friendly face you see in the treatment room, talking you through what’s happening, answering questions, and helping make your appointment feel a little easier.

And pictured with the team is Emily, who has since graduated and earned her dental hygiene license! We’re so proud of her and excited to watch her continue to grow in her career.

Amy, Kare, Sharon, Allie, Val, Allyx, Lauren, Olivia & Emily, our incredible hygiene team!

Together, this group brings almost 90 YEARS of dental hygiene experience to our office. That’s a whole lot of cleanings, education, advice, laughs, and relationships built over the years!

Our hygienists are not only highly educated, but they continue learning throughout the year so they can bring the best and most up-to-date care to our patients.

And while they’re experts at keeping your teeth and gums healthy, they’re also pretty great at getting to know YOU. Over the years, they’ve developed wonderful relationships with so many of our patients and we think that’s one of the best parts of what they do.

We’re pretty lucky to have this amazing team taking care of our patients every day.

🌭 Amy has been patiently waiting… 😂🔥

We’ve handed out TONS of referral cards, and now Amy is standing by the grill waiting for those new patients to bring them back!

Remember: when you refer someone to our office and they bring their referral card to their first appointment, your name gets entered into the drawing for a Blackstone Grill & Griddle Kit! 🔥

🌈 After the storm comes a rainbow. 🌈

We hope everyone is safe after today’s storm! Things got a little scary for a moment, and we’re hoping everyone made it through without too much damage.

As for our office, we’re running on the generator, so appointments will go on as planned! And, of course, we made sure the Keurig is plugged in too. ☕️😂 If you’re without power and need a little caffeine, come on in and grab a cup of coffee!
