✨ We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Dr. Kailey Vredenburg to Pensacola Kids Dentistry! ✨

A Pensacola native, Dr. Kailey is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape her. After completing her pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida in Naples, she is looking forward to caring for the smiles of children right here in her hometown.

Dr. Kailey will officially join our team in August and is now accepting new patients! 🍊

✨ Flossing Tips for Kids Who Hate to Floss (and Busy Moms on the Go) ✨

Let’s be real — flossing a toddler or young kid is not for the weak 😅

Here’s what I tell parents all the time:

🦷 The most common teeth to get cavities after age 2 are between the back molars.

The front teeth usually have great spacing and saliva helps wash food away.
But those back teeth? Food loves to hide there.

If time, patience, or behavior doesn’t allow a full floss session…
👉 Focus on the back four teeth.

If your kid is fighting hard and you only get the two on the right tonight?
That’s okay. Tomorrow, tackle the left.

Every little bit counts.
Consistency > perfection.
