I just received the most emotional yet beautiful gift i’ve ever received. Although to some she was “Just a rescue” but for but for my family and I, she was more than that. The pain and suffering that she endured as a young pup broke the hearts of many around the world. Through compassion and love cuddles was rehabilitated and adopted by the Koch family in Tampa in which she lived the most amazing life. She was always the Star of the show, the life of the party and the love of our lives. Although her passing has been so painful for all of us we know that her sweet loving memories will be instilled in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Many of you know about my baby girl Cuddles. The day I got her 8 years ago she was just a year old and was about to be put down and she became a beautiful loving soul with the strength and will to live. Although it was so hard to see her go, I knew she was going to the best home in the world! I am speechless and beyond heartbroken when I got the call from her Momma, Rhonda this morning that our girl past away after recovering from a dental cleaning. My heart aches, my stomach is upside down and I haven’t been able to control my emotions today. You never ever want to experience this but we all know it will eventually happen. My deepest condolences are with the Koch Family Rhonda Flake Koch 💔 she was born and Angel and has officially received her wings. Cuddles, Your loving personality will be etched our hearts forever. 🌈 🐾 🐶 . The first photo below was taken just moments before she went in for the cleaning. True love never dies!!

Forever Mom and Dad Kelly and Craig share his story...."Brewski is the sweetest, cuddliest and funniest little hot dog there is!! He brings so much love, laughter and a zillion kisses to our home every day and we can't imagine our lives without him! We adopted Brewski (nee "Scotty") from DRSF in February, 2014. After having a bad start in life with some not-so-nice owners and being picked-up as a stray, he was then fostered by one of the many DRSF angels, who gave him the love and care he truly deserved. Since coming into our home, Brewski goes on all sorts of adventures with us and is never afraid to try new things. He loves going for rides in the car, swimming in the pool and "burying" socks & doggy bones all around the house. We totally love our Brewski-boy!! :^D "

Rhonda & her beautiful family picked Cuddles up around 10:30 this morning. It's so quite....not that she was loud...but she was always wiggling wanting to be held & running in & out of my room.........I MISS HER! :(

Sitting on my computer, my 3 dogs are sleeping on my bed & Cuddles is curled up on my lap for the last time. Cuddles will be FOREVER a part of my life & I can only hope that her story has helped educate & encourage others to help foster & rescue these helpless babies. Not just doxies, breed doesnt matter...they all deserve a good life.
