Pelham Dental Care is so excited to announce that Dr. Cristina Burkes is joining our team!!!

Dr. Cristina Burkes is originally from Calera, AL but now calls Pelham, AL home. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2015. She stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

Dr. Burkes is dedicated to providing high quality dental care in a comfortable environment. She believes in educating patients about their oral health and working together to create personalized treatment that supports long term wellness.

Dr. Burkes is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association. She is proud to serve her community by helping her patients achieve healthy smiles.

Outside of the office, Dr. Burkes enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading, baking custom cookies, and staying active through Pilates.

We want to share an important update with you. As many know, Dr. Bates welcomed her first born child, James “Bates” Alison, this past October. It was a difficult decision for Dr. Bates, but she has decided to step back from dentistry to spend more time with her growing family. We are incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication she has shown to our patients and our team during her time with us, and we wish her the very best as she begins this new chapter of life as a mother.

Dr. Kentros will continue to provide care for all of our patients, and our team remains committed to ensuring you receive the same high-quality service and attention you have come to expect from Pelham Dental Care.
