Raquel's journey started with a text message on a Friday morning.

"Dr. Davis… my veneer broke."

I read it and just knew — we had to get her in that day.

So I called her and said, "Meet me at the office at 9. I’ll take care of you."

She came in that morning. We placed a temporary fix so she could smile again before the weekend. Simple as that.

But here's the thing — and this is what keeps me in love with dentistry after all these years.

It's never really just about the tooth.

Raquel has been my capacity coach for the last two years. She's one of those people who has a quiet, steady way of helping you see yourself more clearly — more gracefully. She's shown up for me in some of my hardest moments of growth.
