We see patients all the time that have no pain, no discomfort, but serious infections. This patient came to us with no idea how bad the problem was since they had almost no symptoms. Unfortunately for them, we ended up having to remove this tooth due to the infection completely destroying the surrounding bone. Moral of the story: don't wait for something to hurt to get it fixed, because it may be too late.
