Every year, the week after Halloween, kids bring their extra candy to Peachtree Pediatric Dentistry. We weigh it, pay them by the pound, and the candy goes to charity. Chocolate keepers welcome.

Soft foods, plenty of fluids, and skipping the spicy snacks usually do the trick. Fayette County moms, if a sore lingers or you're just not sure, you never have to guess alone. A Peachtree City kid asked which candy is worse for teeth, and the answer surprises most parents. Gummies stick in the grooves and hang around, and cavities love anything that hangs around. Chocolate dissolves fast and clears out.
