We offer above industry standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all our staff members, enforce social distancing policies within staff and patient areas, ensure frequent disinfection of office and surfaces, and monitor staff and patient temperatures before they enter the office. We are actively adjusting our protocols to exceed minimum requirements from the CDC to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

โข Clean teeth and examine patient oral areas, head and neck for signs of oral disease. Record and review patient medical histories
โข Evaluate overall oral health, examine oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions
โข Document dental history or chief complaint; record and report pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff, as appropriate; document lab procedures and ensure follow up on results
โข Follow through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist. Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planing, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants
โข Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during treatment of patients
โข Administration of Arestin and Periochip
โข All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor

โข Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist
โข Active CPR Certification
โข Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
โข Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
