First Ever Heber Valley Football Rivalry Friday Night and Aksel Wheeler. QB1 For Wasatch HS, Game MVP. 🏈

He earned it on the field, we just got to hand it to him.

Miller Orthodontics is proud to sponsor Game MVP and Play of the Day. And we’re proud to be Heber’s now too: Miller Orthodontics has joined with Wasatch Orthodontics, right in between these 2 high Heber Valley schools.

Congrats, Aksel. 👏

After decades of straightening smiles in the Heber valley, Dr. Brown is hanging up the pliers. He didn’t want to hand his patients to a corporation. Neither did we.
Wasatch Orthodontics is now part of the Miller Ortho family, same chairs, same town, new faces. Dr B will be the one in Heber, meeting every patient myself, then, on occasion Dr J. We both look forward meeting Dr Brown’s amazing patients.

Birthdays are time to reflec on important things, like our family!

Same porch. Same first day of school backdrop. Kids grow up fast.

Twelve years of first-day photos in this town and every one of them feels like it happened last week. Life goes fast, enjoy these moments. . .

To every Park City parent lining them up this morning, we see you. DM us your kids first day pics!🎒

Yesterday ended with a mother-daughter dance in our office. Nobody planned it. Nobody asked for it. It just happened, the way the good stuff usually does.

Twelve years of practicing here means we’ve watched a lot of these kids grow up. Some of them started with us in elementary school (like our 2 boys, PCHS grads) and one of ours rode the DV chairlift, walked across the stage this spring. You don’t get that working somewhere for a season.

To every mom and dad doing the backpack-and-lunchbox scramble last night/this morning: good luck today! We’ll see you at your next appointment.

Researchers call it a confounding variable. We call it the whole point.

The Hawthorne effect: outcomes improve when patients get real attention. More contact time. More rapport. Somebody genuinely invested in how it turns out.

Every study tries to control for it. We built a practice around it.

Because compliance isn’t a personality trait, it’s a byproduct of feeling seen. The patient who thinks you actually know them wears the elastics. Shows up. Finishes.

The result? Treatment time cut by up to 43%.

Here’s the part nobody can copy:

I’ve stood in Angle’s home and classroom. I trained for 2 years under McLaughlin. And I bond LightForce brackets every single day in Park City.

100 years of bracket evolution — and I got to touch all three chapters.

Your braces aren’t your parents’ braces. Not even close.

As an Air Force vet, the anthem never gets old — especially sung like this on America’s 250th. Happy 4th of July from our family to yours. 🇺🇸🎆

250 years of freedom. None of it happened by accident.

Every generation had a choice: play it safe, or be courageous. They chose courage — and that’s the only reason we get to celebrate today.

As a veteran and a dad raising kids in this community, that’s the part I hope we never lose. Freedom isn’t a finish line. It’s a habit of brave people.

Here’s to the next 250 years, as long as we stay courageous enough to earn them. 🇺🇸

Happy Independence Day from all of us at Miller Orthodontics in Park City Utah.
