Fluoride is in the news lately and some of our patients have had questions about this essential mineral. What is most important to know is that the concentrations of fluoride in drinking water in our area municipalities that fluoridate their supplies are therapeutic and not toxic. If you have any questions or concerns about fluoride or any other public health dental interventions please feel free to discuss with our docs or hygienists.
