Let's get to know our own Dr. Brittany a little bit better!

🦷 Why did you want to work in pediatric dentistry?
I grew up watching my dad practice general dentistry, so the dental world was never unfamiliar to me. I wanted to find my own reason to be here and once I started working with kids, I stopped looking.

💙 What matters most to you when caring for a child?
A lot of kids come in nervous, and honestly, that makes sense. My job is to change that, one visit at a time. I use a lot of age-appropriate language, I go slowly, and I celebrate the small wins.

😊 What are you up to outside of the office?
I'm usually chasing the next adventure with my husband. We travel for scuba diving and snowboarding whenever we can.

🙌 Any other fun facts?
I'm an avid angler, which might surprise people.

From our team and (more importantly) Annie Facko: happy Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 💙💛

Your kids probably know kids with Down syndrome and other special needs from school, activities, or your neighborhood.

Please take time as a family to talk about acceptance and inclusion, read books that celebrate differences, and be a voice for kindness to make our world a more loving place.

Remember, while kids with special needs may look, speak, move, or act differently, when you get to know them, you'll find out they enjoy a lot of the same things you do. You're !
