We love caring for growing smiles, but at what age should your child first see us?

The American Dental Association recommends by age one — or within 6 months of the first tooth erupting. But did you know that some dentists suggest waiting until age 2 or 3 instead?

It's up to parents ultimately, but building familiarity with dental appointments and helping with damaging oral habits like thumb-sucking or pacifier use are great reasons to have a child's first dental visit be before ages 2 or 3.
