My name is Courtney and I have had the joy of finding my passion in Photography. Its hard to put into words how much this fits my life so well. It makes my heart ache knowing that their little smiles will continue to change over time but at the same time It is pretty exciting to watch the change as they learn and grow and discover who they are. Photography has given me the opportunity to preserve

every freckle and tooth lost. Every laugh and even some of the tears that are a reminder of lessons learned. When someone chooses me to capture those memories for them it fills my heart with so much joy, awe and gratitude. I know how important they are. To put their trust in me for whatever the occasion is something I absolutely cherish. Its why I can't just choose one type of category to photograph. I love it all ! I love the laughter that comes from a wedding when all of the family is together just share in the joy of their loved ones special day. I love the excitement and uncertainty when a High School senior is entering their last year of something that has been a part of their life for 12 years. When a newborn baby finds comfort in their parents loving arms. When a goof ball family gets to show their true colors with smiles that reach ear to ear when they look at each other and share in their inside jokes. So many more things I could describe for days. Photography has become part of me and I want to share that with all of you.

Every once in a while, I get a little pocket of time to come up for air… and share something that stays with me 🤍

This one feels special.

There’s something about this season of life—standing on the edge of everything you’ve known, with pieces of your childhood still quietly behind you, cheering you on.

This image says it so perfectly.

The stories that shaped her, the imagination, the innocence, the laughter… all still there, just now walking forward into something new. Not leaving it behind—just carrying it with her in a different way.

She is kind, genuine, and completely herself. And getting to photograph her felt like capturing that exact in-between moment… where you’re no longer a little kid, but you’re not quite ready to let go of it either.

Senior year is a beautiful, fleeting chapter.

And she is walking into it so gracefully ✨

Little hands grasped papa’s eager guide,
As rigs and excavators roared with pride,
Through fields of green, where wildflowers sway,
He ran with glee, on a sunny day.

A tiny toad caught his curious eye,
A moment's wonder, before he'd say goodbye,
A spider's fate, a small, sad squeeze,
A childhood moment, in fleeting ease.

The wind in his hair, cheeks aglow,
He chased the wind, with a joyful show,
As the day waned, and the sun dipped low,
A sippy cup comfort, in mom's warm glow.

Cuddles and snuggles, a soothing end,
A little boy's adventures, a love that transcends,

I'm so grateful to have amazing women like this incredible boss babe in my life! Tani has worked tirelessly to build her dreams, and yet she often forgets to acknowledge her own awesomeness. I'm constantly inspired by her strength, resilience, and passion. But what I adore most is the love and support of her family - her husband and son are her biggest cheerleaders, and it's beautiful to see. We even snuck in some birthday photos to celebrate this amazing woman(ill let her post those)and capturing their love and connection was pure joy. I'm honored to call her a friend and I get to see firsthand what an incredible family they are. Thrilled that they got to tag along and jump in on the Salt Flats trip. Can't wait for many more lunches and adventures together.

Twelve plus years of capturing the love and incredible light of a family that has always been so much more than just subjects in front of my lens.
From the very first session, I knew I was working with something special. Over the years, I've had the privilege of watching their love and connection grow, and I've been honored to be a part of so many milestone moments. When they asked me to travel to the breathtaking Bonneville Salt Flats, I jumped at the chance to create new memories with them. What I'm most grateful for is the friendship we've developed along the way – one that's filled with kindness, humor, and a deep appreciation for one another. Here's to many more adventures, zoo visits, States and landmarks to explore together.

P.s I loved getting to shine a little light on mom and dad in this session. They have a love for the ages.

I am IN LOVE with how this whole shoot turned out. There is something purely fulfilling when you have photographed a family for years and get to see such beautiful milestones and memories created. SO grateful they wanted me apart of their incredible day.🥰
