Dental terminology can be confusing, so let’s break it down!

Think of a panoramic X-ray as looking at the entire forest. It gives us the big picture and helps us spot larger concerns that could affect your overall oral health.

The smaller X-rays let us zoom in on each individual “tree,” allowing us to see the details between your teeth and below the gums that a panoramic X-ray alone can’t show.
