Think of your dental cleaning as the professional reset button your mouth has been waiting for.

đŸȘ„ At-home care: keeps things under control
đŸŠ· Professional cleanings: remove what your toothbrush can’t
đŸ‘©â€âš•ïž Regular exams: catch little problems before they become expensive, painful problems

So if your last dental appointment was “a while ago,” we’re not judging.

We’re dentists. We’ve heard everything. 😂

Just don’t wait until your tooth starts sending you an emergency text message in the middle of the night:

“Hey
 remember me?
The one you’ve been ignoring?
WE NEED TO TALK.”

📅 Schedule your next cleaning and exam. Your teeth—and your toothbrush—will thank you.

Cheers to a great weekend ahead! Any community activities we should know about?

We missed our retired assistant Bev so we asked her to come and use her green thumb and help us out with our plants. Bev graciously agreed – we like to think it’s because she misses us too!
We now get to see her regularly AND reap the benefits of her superb gardening skills . Win Win!!

A cracked tooth doesn’t always happen from a major accident. In many cases, tiny cracks develop over time from everyday habits like clenching or grinding your teeth, chewing ice, biting hard candies, or eating hard foods. These cracks can be so small that they’re impossible to see without a dental exam.

One of the most common warning signs is a sharp pain when you bite down or release pressure. You may also notice sensitivity to cold or discomfort that seems to come and go. Because the symptoms aren’t always constant, many people wait too long to have them evaluated.

The sooner a cracked tooth is diagnosed, the better the chance of saving it. Depending on the size and location of the crack, treatment may include bonding, a crown, or root canal therapy. If left untreated, however, a crack can spread and may eventually require the tooth to be removed.

đŸŠ· Don’t ignore tooth pain that comes and goes—it could be an early sign of a cracked tooth. If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, call Brauneck Family Dentistry as soon as possible. Early treatment can make all the difference in preserving your natural tooth.

There are good reasons for both, but many dentists recommend brushing before breakfast to remove the bacteria that builds up overnight and to help protect your enamel before eating acidic foods.

No matter which you choose, brushing twice a day for two full minutes and flossing daily are the real keys to a healthy smile!
