A native Chicagoan, Dr. Seidman received his Bachelors Degree and Dental Degree from the University of Illinois. After earning his DDS in 1971, he served as a dental officer in the U.S Army. Upon returning from active duty Dr. Seidman was a staff dentist in the Department of Dentistry at Illinois Masonic Hospital, Chicago. He completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1976. Dr. Seidman has remained on the faculty at UIC as an assistant professor helping to train others to become pediatric dentists. In 1976 Dr. Seidman began Palatine Pediatric Dentistry serving infants, children, teens and those with special needs in Palatine and surrounding communities. A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Seidman has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on various topics concerning children’s dental care. A member of local and national dental societies, he is a past president of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Seidman and his wife, Susan, are parents of two daughters. He enjoys cooking, photography, playing tennis and following Chicago’s professional sports teams. Dr. Seidman’s gentle manner, patience, concern and knowledge are qualities which help him to achieve his goal of a lifetime of excellent dental health for your children.
