Well friends, once again winter strikes. The extreme temperatures have frozen our vacuum pump. With the bad roads we were not going to be seeing patients today anyway, and we are working to get everything repaired so we are back up and running ASAP. Weather and repair status not withstanding, I am hoping we can reopen on Thursday the 18th. I will update on here and if you are scheduled we will contact you if there are changes.

Weather update for February 15th. With the current road conditions deteriorating, dangerous cold and forecast for more snow tonight into the morning, we will be closing the office on Monday February 15th. I am planning on being open on Tuesday the 16th as normal unless things worsen. There appears to be another winter storm headed this way into Wednesday and we will update here as needed. The back roads are especially treacherous now so be careful if you must get out. Stay safe and stay home if you can. The health and safety of our wonderful patients and staff is of utmost importance.

Hello friends. We are preparing for opening on Monday May 4th. We will be following all current CDC and ADA guidelines to keep everyone safe during the process of returning to normal operations. If you are scheduled for an appointment please keep in mind there will be a few changes. When you arrive we would ask you to call the office to let us know you have arrived. We will come out and bring you in after we have taken your temperature and gone over some basic screening questions. We will be limiting the number of people in the office so if you bring others with you, they will need to remain in the car. We are keeping our patient’s and staff’s safety a priority as we also recognize the need to begin taking care of our patients needs.

Christian County holding at eighteen (18) positive COVID-19 cases

Ozark, MO -Christian County Health Department is pleased to share that we are holding steady at eighteen (18) total COVID-19 positive cases that have been reported in Christian County. Twelve (12) of the eighteen (18) cases have now recovered from the virus. That leaves only six (6) cases that are being monitored at this time from the positive group.
A large number of close contacts have been monitored throughout the past several weeks. Of the large group that we have been monitoring, only seven (7) are still being monitored.
That leaves our numbers at only thirteen (13) people that need to be monitored in Christian County. These numbers are very encouraging for a county as large as ours.
Cindy Bilyleu, Christian County Health Director said, “We firmly believe that social distancing and good handwashing etiquette has helped keep our case count down thus far.” Governor Parsons stated in his press conference today that it is very possible we will start to see businesses start opening back up and employees going back to work during the first week in May.
Continue to do all you can while the order is still in place to keep our county as healthy as possible. It will give us a great start to moving into this new phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery.

To all of our friends and patients:

In an abundance of caution and to be as safe as we can in the midst of this unprecedented COVID-19 situation, we will be changing how we are doing things for the next 2-3 weeks. I am going to take this a couple of weeks at a time right now by doing the following things:

1. We will be following the CDC and American Dental Association guidelines regarding treating patients during this time. This means that if you have a cleaning appointment scheduled in the next couple of weeks we will be calling you to reschedule. As of now I am doing this until April 6th but that is subject to change as the situation changes.

2. We will limit other appointments to emergencies and pain as well as procedures that cannot be put off. If you have an appointment between now until April 6th we will be calling you to discuss this and reschedule when appropriate.

So, understand that this is a rapidly changing situation and I will make posts on this page and contact patients directly as that becomes necessary. As of now i am only going to change the schedule until May 1st but I do expect that this could change, so please feel free to contact us and keep your eyes on our page. We really value our patient family and want everyone to stay safe and healthy during this stressful and difficult time. We will get through this together as a community, state and nation. Take care of yourselves and each other.
