5 Reasons Dental Implants are Better than Dentures!
1. They stay in your mouth and won't fall out (less maintenance)!
2. They can be matched to the color, shade, and shape of your teeth!
3. They are made of high-quality porecelain! This makes them very stable and durable -- they feel like your own teeth!
4. While dentures cover up problems, dental implants replace tooth roots and keep your jawbone strong!
5. Speak, Eat and LIVE better!

Floss (Your Implant) Like a Boss! 🦷
1. Break off about 18-24 inches of dental floss.
2. Wind it around your middle fingers and hold it tight!
3. Insert the floss behind the implant and bring both ends through to the front.
4. Cross the strings and swap hands so your hands aren’t crossed.
5. Move in a criss-cross motion to clean all around the implant!

The smile on our patients faces is why we love what we do! ❤️

At our initial no charge new patient examinations we believe in keeping everyones expectations the same. The healing stage of 3-6 months is a short time sacrifice for the long term success of the dental implants, with this being said our patients do have the option of having temporary teeth during the interim but they are simply there for aesthetic purposes only, not made to function.

Again, it's a short term sacrifice for the LONG TERM SUCCESS!

Our goal is for these implants to last you a lifetime and when the proper education of the implant process is given to the patient on the front end at the initial examination these are the smiles and confidence we see radiating in our office on seat case days!

for success

I wanted to reach out to everyone, to update you on the status of our Southaven & Oxford, Ms offices.

I have been closely monitoring the status of COVID-19. Based on current recommendations from the CDC, MSBDE and the ADA, I have decided to temporarily close both offices, and only see patients who require emergency dental care. Please know the dental team will be in both offices on a limited schedule in order to take your calls regarding the status of your appointment.

We have already been proactive in rescheduling most of our non-emergency cases. Rest assured we will be in contact with each patient as soon as we can. Please feel free to give us a call @ 866-667-4867 if you have any questions or concerns.

I pray that everyone is understanding of my decision. The overall health and safety of my dental team, patients and community is what is important.

I would like to thank all of my patients for entrusting me with your care. It is a trust that I do not take lightly. To my dental team I would like to thank each of you for your dedication to our patients.

Take care stay safe and God bless.

Information from the CDC in regards to Covid-19

When and How to Wash Your Hands

Hand washing is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your family from getting sick. Learn when and how you should wash your hands to stay healthy.

Wash Your Hands Often to Stay Healthy

You can help yourself and your loved ones stay healthy by washing your hands often, especially during these key times when you are likely to get and spread germs:

· Before, during, and after preparing food

· Before eating food

· Before and after caring for someone at home who is sick with vomiting or diarrhea

· Before and after treating a cut or wound

· After using the toilet

· After changing diapers or cleaning up a child who has used the toilet

· After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

· After touching an animal, animal feed, or animal waste

· After handling pet food or pet treats

· After touching garbage

Follow Five Steps to Wash Your Hands the Right Way

Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs. Clean hands can stop germs from spreading from one person to another and throughout an entire community—from your home and workplace to childcare facilities and hospitals.

Follow these five steps every time.

1. Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.

2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.

3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.

4. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.

5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

Use Hand Sanitizer When You Can’t Use Soap and Water

You can use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to get rid of germs in most situations. If soap and water are not readily available, you can use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. You can tell if the sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol by looking at the product label.

Sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of germs on hands in many situations. However,

· Sanitizers do not get rid of all types of germs.

· Hand sanitizers may not be as effective when hands are visibly dirty or greasy.

· Hand sanitizers might not remove harmful chemicals from hands like pesticides and heavy metals.

Caution! Swallowing alcohol-based hand sanitizers can cause alcohol poisoning if more than a couple of mouthfuls are swallowed. Keep it out of reach of young children and supervise their use.
How to use hand sanitizer

· Apply the gel product to the palm of one hand (read the label to learn the correct amount).

· Rub your hands together.

· Rub the gel over all the surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry. This should take around 20 seconds.

A huge thank you to The Mid South Mission of Mercy and all of the humble volunteers who gave their time and used their gifts this weekend to help take care of the dental needs for our local residents.
Thank you to Bellevue Baptist Church for opening your doors for everyone to be taken care of. The hospitality your church shows each year does not go unnoticed.
