Let’s talk about the cone beam x-ray I use in my dental office! It gives me 3D visualization vs traditional 2D. Notice in the first picture there is some inflammation visualized, but it’s not giving the full picture. If you swipe to the second photo you can clearly see where the issue is (see arrow).

When we are able to visualize better ➡️ we diagnose better ➡️ leads to better treatment and outcomes!

I recently had a patient that had an abscess not visualized on 2D but the cone beam caught it and I could pinpoint the location and best way to access and treat!

What do reading and healthy smiles have in common? They both start young! 😁📚
Our registered dental hygienist, Linzy, celebrated Read Across America last week by reading ‘The Tooth Book’ to elementary students and sharing some fun tips for keeping their smiles bright!

We are so grateful for Linzy and the incredible care she gives our littlest patients! From cleanings to education and myofunctional support, she is passionate about helping kids build healthy smiles early. 🦷🪥
