🐛🦋 Smile Keepers is expecting... BUTTERFLIES!! 🦋🐛
No need to send baby gifts... just good butterfly vibes! 💚
Our office has some very special "patients" hanging out in the lobby! We are watching these amazing monarch chrysalises transform into beautiful butterflies, and we can't wait to see them emerge.
🌿 Did you know? 🦋 A monarch caterpillar forms a chrysalis after about 8–21 days of growing. 💚 The butterfly develops inside the chrysalis for about 6–12 days. ✨ During that time, the caterpillar completely transforms into a butterfly—a process called metamorphosis! 🧡 Just before they hatch, the chrysalis becomes clear, and you can actually see the orange and black wings inside.
Think of it as nature's version of a makeover... except this one doesn't involve whitening, braces, or floss! 😄🪥
If you're in the office over the next several days, keep an eye on our butterfly habitat—you might be lucky enough to witness one of these incredible butterflies emerge for the very first time! 🦋

🦷 Floss Like a Boss! 🦷
Let's be honest... most of us have told our dentist, "I floss!" while secretly meaning, "I flossed this morning because I had an appointment." 😅
Here are some fun flossing facts and tips from Smile Keepers:
✅ Flossing removes plaque and food particles from places your toothbrush can't reach.
✅ Just 1 minute a day can help reduce your risk of cavities and gum disease.
✅ Bleeding when you floss? That's often a sign your gums need more flossing, not less! (If it continues, let us know.)
✅ Don't just snap the floss between your teeth—gently curve it around each tooth in a "C" shape and slide it below the gumline.
✅ The best time to floss? The time you'll actually do it! Morning, night, or while binge-watching your favorite show.
