Dr. Joseph H. Higginson has been providing orthodontic care to the Owensboro community since 1978. Louis.

Dr. Higginson attended Western Kentucky University before entering dental school at the University of Louisville. Dr. Higginson received his certification and Master of Science in Orthodontics from Washington University in St. He is a board certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the College of Diplomats of the ABO. He is a member of the American and Southern A

ssociations of Orthodontists, and the American and Kentucky Dental Associations. He is a past president of the Green River Dental Society and the Western Kentucky Orthodontic Study Group. Dr. Higginson has served as a license examiner for the Orthodontic Specialty Board, as a trained insurance advisor for the American Association of Orthodontists, and as a delegate to the Kentucky Dental Association.

Due to the snow we have and the snow that’s coming, we have decided to close for the rest of the week. We will open Monday, February 22nd at 7:00am. We are in the process of rescheduling all our patients. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us. Please stay warm and safe.

Due to the inclement weather, our office is closing today at 11:30am. To keep our patients and staff safe, we will be closed tomorrow also. If weather and road conditions permit, we will open Wednesday, February 17th at 7:00am in our Owensboro location. Our Hardinsburg location will be closed Wednesday. Be safe and enjoy your snow days!!
