If you’re curious about EmFace for TMJ, one of the most common questions is: “What does it actually feel like?”

Most patients describe the treatment as a warm, relaxing sensation paired with gentle muscle stimulation in the face and jaw area. It’s designed to help support muscle balance and reduce tension without anything invasive.

There’s no needles, no numbing, and no downtime—just a comfortable session focused on helping your facial muscles feel more relaxed and supported.

It’s a modern option for patients dealing with jaw tension, clenching, or TMJ-related discomfort who want something beyond traditional approaches.

A dental cleaning is about so much more than just polishing your teeth. ✨🦷

During your visit, we’re also checking for early signs of cavities, gum disease, inflammation, wear patterns, oral cancer, and other concerns that may not be visible or causing symptoms yet.

Professional cleanings help remove plaque and tartar buildup that brushing and flossing alone can’t reach — helping protect not just your smile, but your overall health too.

Routine cleanings are one of the easiest ways to prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems down the road. Prevention always matters. 💙

This is one of the most common questions we get—and honestly, it’s one patients wish they understood sooner.

A filling is used when there’s a smaller area of decay or damage. We clean it out and restore just that portion of the tooth.

A crown is needed when a tooth is more compromised—think large cavities, cracks, or teeth that need extra strength and protection. A crown covers the entire tooth to restore both function and durability.

Both treatments are designed to save your natural tooth—just at different levels of support.

If you’ve ever been confused about what you needed, you’re not alone.

If you deal with frequent headaches, it’s easy to assume it’s stress, screen time, or lack of sleep.

But in many cases, the jaw is the missing piece.

TMJ dysfunction can place extra strain on the muscles in your jaw, face, and neck—often leading to tension headaches that feel like they “come out of nowhere.”
The frustrating part? Many people treat the symptom (headaches) without realizing the root cause may be their bite or jaw joint.

The good news is, once TMJ is identified, there are treatment options that can significantly reduce or even eliminate that constant tension.

This is one of the most common questions we hear, and it makes total sense.

Cavities don’t always cause pain right away. In fact, decay can progress quietly for a while before you feel anything noticeable.

That’s why we rely on exams and X-rays—not just symptoms—to catch issues early. Treating a cavity when it’s small usually means a simpler, more conservative filling. Waiting until it hurts often means the decay has gotten deeper and more complex to treat.

And here’s something most people don’t realize—if we catch it early enough, we may be able to slow or even stop the process with remineralization strategies and improved homecare before a filling is needed.

Pain is not always the first warning sign.

If you’ve tried whitening strips, pens, or store-bought kits and felt underwhelmed… you’re not alone.

Most over-the-counter options use lower-strength ingredients and a one-size-fits-all approach—meaning slower results and uneven whitening.

Professional whitening is different. It’s tailored to your smile, uses safe and effective concentrations, and delivers noticeably brighter results in less time.

Less guessing. Better outcomes.

Ask us about our whitening options and what would work best for your smile ✨

TMJ discomfort often comes from a combination of muscle overuse, tension, and imbalance—not just the joint itself.

That’s where EmFace comes in.

EmFace is a non-invasive treatment that works by helping relax overactive facial muscles while also strengthening and rebalancing the surrounding structure. This can support improved comfort in patients dealing with TMJ-related tension, clenching, and facial strain.

No needles. No downtime. Just a modern approach to helping your jaw and facial muscles work more comfortably together.

Think your symptoms are unrelated? They might all trace back to your jaw.

TMJ issues don’t just show up as jaw pain—they can look like headaches, ear pressure, or even constant clenching you barely notice.

Because these symptoms are so easy to brush off, a lot of people live with discomfort way longer than they need to.

The truth is—your jaw should move comfortably, quietly, and without pain.
If it doesn’t, it’s worth paying attention.
