best and brightest, the AADPA offers scholarships to recent graduates who are establishing new practices to attend our meetings. Dental Students - We support practice management seminars at dental schools in association with the American Dental Association through the AADPA Foundation. GOALS:

A full schedule can feel like success.

More patients. Higher production. A team that stays busy from open to close. But none of those things automatically mean you have a healthy business.

Experience is valuable. Curiosity keeps it valuable.

The longer you've practiced, the easier it can become to rely on what has always worked. But dentistry, technology, business, and patient expectations don't stand still.

Neither should you.

Staying curious means being willing to hear a different perspective, reconsider an old assumption, ask a colleague how they're approaching something, or admit there may be a better way.

You don't outgrow being a student when you become an expert.

Take a look at your schedule.

Not just at how full it is, but at what it says about the practice you’ve created.

Does your calendar leave enough time to provide care the way you want to? Is there room to think, lead, and plan? Or has “fully booked” quietly become the only definition of success?

A packed schedule can look great from the outside while leaving very little room for the things that make ownership worthwhile.

One of private practice’s greatest advantages is the ability to preserve something increasingly valuable in healthcare: a genuine relationship between doctor and patient.
