Noah underwent a surgery to revise a previous procedure, allowing him to bear weight on the end of his residual limb and use a prosthetic knee. After a few steps in the parallel bars, he just took off - told us he had been dreaming about it, so he knew what to do. ❤️ While Noah was walking around, he stopped and talked with Ethan Pritchard, a FSU football player who is doing rehab at our facility. He told Ethan that he wants to play football someday. Ethan said, you can do whatever you want to, if you put your mind to it. Great advice! 🔥🦿

Nevin, a bilateral amputee, found that learning to balance on running blades actually helped improve his stability on his everyday prosthetic feet as well. Just a few months after returning home to Canada, he played an impressive game of tennis without missing a beat! Nevin’s fearless, fun-loving attitude has played a huge role in his recovery from the illness that took his legs—and nearly took his life.

We made Trip, who has a short AK residual limb, a simple prosthesis to wear for water sports. He’s always been an “extreme” natural athlete, so it didn’t surprise us to see that he’s wakeboarding and doing jumps like this. Very impressive! 🔥

We are blessed to be part of Ethan’s recovery team! He works hard every day, and it’s paying off. 🔥💪🏽

Ethan Pritchard, a Florida State athlete, is back in Central Florida. He still has goals of returning to the football field, one year after being shot.

What a difference a day makes! Last week, Jana, a below knee amputee, rolled in on a scooter. She hadn’t been able to wear her prosthetic leg for months. By the end of the day, Roger had Jana up and walking comfortably — and by Friday, she was on her way home to Chicago!
