We’ve added some interactive features to our website. In addition to secure bill pay, we now offer online appointment requests and online forms through a secure portal. We’ve also updated our patient communications for appointment reminders and HIPPA secure messaging. We hope this allows more convenience as interactions are no longer limited by office hours. www.bestcaredental.net

I’ve embarked on a new adventure with leadership in the Provo District Dental Society of the Utah Dental Association. Organized dentistry has made a huge difference for good in my ability to stay current and associate with some of the best people in the profession. We had a successful event this week for nearly 50 dentists in our area. Special thanks to our district’s own Dr. Gordon Christensen for an incredible presentation.

Also, our patients may notice that we’ll soon be implementing a new communication system that will help with all aspects of care. In addition to online bill pay, we’re adding online appointment scheduling, reminder texts and emails and…no more clipboards (forms will be available through a private and secure patient portal). We hope our efforts to improve your experience are effective and efficient. We’ll also welcome your feedback through post visit surveys 😁

Remote learning has some advantages; Home continuing education is more comfortable than most lectures, and you can press pause for breaks whenever you want. However, it will be nice to return to more hands on courses after the pandemic. There’s always so much to learn as we continue to discover new and exciting ways to improve the quality of care. Update: Utah Dep. of Health has rescinded the ban on elective procedures which includes dentistry. We will cautiously resume certain procedures while following the protocol and additional precautions outlined in the Utah public health order that was issued April 21st. Please wear your masks and call prior to entering the office. Other necessary changes will be outlined prior to all appointments. Thank you!

Update: The State of Utah has mandated that we continue to treat only dental emergencies until late April. We truly appreciate those of you who have willingly, and graciously, rescheduled appointments- and those who have made payments on your dental accounts. We invite any who need to pay a bill to utilize the online payment option at www.bestcaredental.net. We are doing our best to keep staff employed and available to take calls. These are very challenging times for both individuals and businesses. We’re doing our best to prepare for the time when we return to business as usual. Thank you so much!!

To comply with government and professional leadership requests, we will be rescheduling all elective dental appointments for 3 weeks. We’ll be available for dental emergencies as necessary. We extend our apologies to those of you who will be inconvenienced by this. Our staff will contact each scheduled patient in the coming days to reschedule those appointments. We’ve had several requests for online bill pay and it’s now available on our site www.bestcaredental.net. You can click “Bill Pay” at the top which will bring up our secure payment link. For those who don’t prefer to use online payments, other methods are still perfectly acceptable. Thank you!!
