Broke a tooth? A crown isn’t always the only option.

Depending on how much tooth is left, where the fracture is, your bite, and the health of the tooth, there may be several ways to restore it.

Sometimes, a conservative option like composite reattachment can restore a fractured tooth while preserving the remaining natural tooth structure.

If a piece of your tooth breaks off, save it! If the fragment is intact and the situation is appropriate, your dentist may sometimes be able to bond the original piece back onto the tooth.

Other treatment options can include:
✨ Composite restoration/bonding
✨ Veneer
✨ Crown

The best option depends on the individual tooth and the extent of the fracture — there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution.
