Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Chua is a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in cardiac anesthesiology and more than 15 years of experience caring for patients in academic and private practice settings. His approach to anesthesia combines extensive clinical experience with a deeply held belief in human-centered care: every patient deserves to be treated as a whole person, not simply as a procedure. As the parent of a child with special needs, Dr. Chua has a particular appreciation for the trust families place in their care team and for the importance of creating a calm, compassionate environment for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
