Meet Our Orthodontist

Dr. R**e received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1982. He then attended Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta where he received his D.D.S. In 1989, Dr. R**e completed a three-year postgraduate orthodontic residency at UAB School of Dentistry and was awarded a Master's Degree for his extensive orthodontic research. Dr. R**e has been in pr

ivate practice for over 30 years, creating beautiful smiles for the Trussville/Clay, St. Clair, and Blount County communities. Dr. R**e is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a prestigious award only a small percentage of orthodontists ever achieve, and was voted one of America's Top Orthodontists by the Consumers' Research Council of America. In addition to private practice, Dr. R**e serves as a clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the UAB School of Dentistry, training residents from around the world. He is past president of UAB Orthodontic Alumni Association and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and Alabama Dental Association. Dr. R**e and his wife, Melissa, live in the Trussville area where they attend Faith Community Fellowship. Dr. R**e enjoys reading, CrossFit, traveling and just spending time with his four precious children and five grandchildren.

Nancy is one of our amazing Clinical Assistants! She’s been in orthodontics for 6 years and part of our team for almost 5. Nancy is CPR certified, completed the UAB Dental Assisting Program, and has advanced Invisalign training. She loves being part of each patient’s smile journey and watching their confidence grow. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, concerts, and staying connected to her Mexican heritage. Fun fact: Nancy is bilingual!
