The 40th Annual Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Conference in Wisconsin Dells was held on May 19th and 20th. Members of the Community Health Services Team were in attendance. Long Term Care Programs Manager Carrie Lindsey presented a breakout session on “The Power of Connection: Purpose, Partners and Progress in a Tribal Community.” Tribal Dementia Care Specialist, Deb Miller and Family Care RN, Lisa Voda were on the conference planning committee.

We’re proud to share that Oneida Comprehensive Health Division Director Debbie Danforth has been selected as the closing keynote speaker for the 2026 Wisconsin Annual Public Health Conference!

Debbie’s invitation to deliver the closing keynote is a significant honor and a testament to her leadership, expertise, and impact in the field of public health. Being chosen to close out a statewide conference speaks volumes as this role is reserved for leaders who inspire, challenge, and shape the future of public health practice.

This recognition also highlights the division's commitment to advancing community health, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful change across Wisconsin.
