What is sleep hygiene and how everyone can benefit from it. 😴

Establishing a good nighttime routine is key for optimal sleep no matter what your age is.

To help your mind & body prepare for a restful night sleep it is best to avoid bright lights and screen time—whether that’s watching TV or scrolling your phone it keeps your brain active and can make it difficult to fall asleep. Reading and listening to calm music are a great way for anyone to calm their brain before bed.

Being able to help our patients live a longer, healthier life is definitely a flex. Raising awareness to sleep disordered breathing and helping patients get the treatment they need whether it is through our office, their primary care physician, or one of the ENTs we work with is very chic. 😉

All patients deserve comprehensive care and that is our goal. Your health is our priority.

75% of those who share a bed with a snorer report interrupted sleep. On average, partners of those who snore lose 1 hour of sleep every night and over time that can really add up to have serious repercussions on their health. Loss of sleep impacts overall mood, quality of life, and add relationship strain too. Chronic fatigue increases stress level and can impact immune health as well as cardiovascular health. Treated sleep apnea and/or snoring means you’re both sleeping better.

If your man sounds like that when he sleeps… 😳 let this be your sign to schedule him a consult for a sleep study. 😉 Everyone deserves their beauty rest to feel good and stay healthy.
