Dr. Amir Fakhrzadeh, Sr. Manager of Clinical Education, DSO NAM, for the Straumann Group is a board-certified Periodontist with clinical research expertise in implantology and regenerative dental biomaterials in both academic and private practice settings. He received his DMD degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Then went on to compete a NIH T32 postdoctoral research fellowship in Regenerative Medicine at the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials. He completed his clinical specialty training in Periodontics & Implant Surgery as well as a M.S. in Biomedical Science at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and New Jersey Medical School, respectively. His clinical, academic, and research interests are focused primarily on translational research, clinical education, and clinical implementation of dental implant therapy and implantable biomaterials.
