Skip the traditional mouthwashes made with alcohols and astringents and opt for tongue scraping instead!

Research indicates that traditional mouthwashes can disrupt the oral microbiome, killing beneficial bacteria and reducing nitric oxide production, thereby increasing blood pressure.

Maintaining a cleaner mouth and respecting the beneficial oral bacteria is key and tongue scraping will help cleanse the oral cavity while also maintaining nitric oxide synthesis, promoting cardiovascular health.
