Q: Why does my child’s new permanent tooth look more yellow than their baby teeth?

A: This is often completely normal! Permanent teeth naturally contain more dentin, which can give them a slightly warmer or more yellow appearance compared to bright white baby teeth. As more permanent teeth come in, the difference usually becomes much less noticeable.
