Dr. Dougherty is a gentle, caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials & procedures. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Dougherty is a careful listener & will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs. in Microbiology, Dr. Dougherty received

his doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He continues to take courses on the newest updates in dentistry, including advanced courses in cosmetic, aesthetic & reconstructive dentistry (crowns & bridges). Dr. Dougherty is a member of the American Dental Society, the Maryland State Dental Association & the Howard County Dental Society. Additionally, he has made many mission trips to Honduras. Dr. Dougherty looks forward to showing you how exceptional dentistry can improve your life.
