trust your smile with us. Family Dental Wellness is owned by Dr. Bernard Schneider. He was born and raised in the Western New York area and is a graduate of Niagara University. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Schneider completed graduate research work in Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio in 1990. Immediately following dental school Dr. Schneider was employed with the Geneva B. Scruggs Community Health Care Center at ECMC. Dr. Schneider is a CEREC specialist and has been using CEREC computerized cad-cam technology since 2002. He was the first dentist in the Olean Allegany area to offer this advanced technique to his patients. With 10 years of experience and thousands of restorations Dr. Schneider's patients have benefited from this advanced one visit procedure. Dr. Schneider is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the New York State Dental Association, the Cattaraugus County Dental Association and the 8th District Dental Society. He is also a member of The Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America with his international training as a CEREC specialist. Dr. Schneider has continued with the advances permitted by computerized dentistry and CEREC technology. He provides cosmetic applications including ceramic veneers and ZOOM whitening as well as tissue contouring utilizing advanced laser technology.

IT’S BOOKED!

🌵✈️ In October our team is headed to Scottsdale, Arizona for the Solea Summit 2026!

At Family Dental Wellness | Boland Dental PLLC, we are committed to continuously investing in advanced technology and education so we can provide the very best care for our patients.

While attending the summit, Dr. Boland will be completing his certification in Solea PerioGuide, an innovative laser-assisted treatment protocol designed to help manage periodontal (gum) disease in a minimally invasive way using our Solea Laser.

Our clinical team will be expanding their knowledge of dental laser technology, allowing them to better educate our patients on the many benefits and applications of laser dentistry. Meanwhile, our CFO will be attending leadership and business courses focused on maximizing practice efficiency and helping us take full advantage of everything Solea technology has to offer.

Dr. Boland believes that great dentistry never stops learning. He prides himself and his practice on this invaluable reality.

We’re excited to bring back new knowledge, advanced techniques, and innovative solutions that will continue to enhance the care we provide right here in our community! 🦷

Hi, I’m Amy, a dental hygienist who loves helping people of all ages feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. My approach is gentle, educational, and always judgment-free. I specialize in preventive cleanings, gum health, patient education, and supporting patients who experience dental anxiety. I received my degree from Erie Community College and have over 20 years of experience in multiple areas of patient care.
I believe that every smile tells a story. I’m here to help yours stay healthy. Whether I’m teaching proper brushing techniques, performing periodontal therapy, or simply helping someone feel more at ease in the chair; my goal is to make dental visits positive and stress-free.
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me with my family, enjoying weekend adventures, sports games, or just relaxing at home.
